Effective Tuesday, April 7, due to the temporary closure of a portion of Howard Street by the City of San Francisco, Golden Gate Transit drop-off stops at Howard & 2nd and Folsom & 4th will NOT be served. Customers are directed to stops at Howard & Fremont (Route 101), 1st & Mission, or temporary stops at Harrison & 2nd or Harrison & 3rd (last southbound stop).

Per local health orders, all persons riding Golden Gate Transit must wear a face covering. A face covering is any fabric or cloth that covers the nose and mouth.

For social distancing purposes, Golden Gate Transit is now limiting the number of riders permitted on any bus. On 40-foot buses, a maximum of 8 riders will be permitted; on 45-foot buses, a maximum of 10 riders will be permitted. We apologize for any inconvenience.
