Advisory Committees at the District
The District sponsors four advisory committees. All meetings are open to the public.
Bus Passengers Advisory Committee (BPAC) meets on the third Wednesday evening of every other month in the Caboose room at Vivalon in San Rafael from 6 pm - 8 pm, with a hiatus in the summer. Members provide input and express the preference of fellow bus passengers to transit managers and staff.
Ferry Passengers Advisory Committee (FPAC) meets on the second Monday of selected months at the Port of San Francisco, Pier 1 from 11 am - 12:15 pm. Members provide input and express the preference of fellow ferry passengers to transit managers and staff.
Advisory Committee on Accessibility (ACA) typically meets quarterly on the third Thursday afternoon of the month in the Board Room at Vivalon in San Rafael from 1:30-3:00 pm. Please see calendar below for dates. Members provide input and express the preference of fellow bus and ferry passengers with disabilities to transit managers and staff.
Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee (PBAC) meets on the third Wednesday evening of selected months. This committee advises the District on bicycle and pedestrian issues for the Golden Gate Bridge and its approaches, within the District’s transit facilities, and on board GGT buses and GGF vessels.
