Adult Clipper Card & Contactless Bank Card Fares 
Fares below are for adults using Clipper cards (plastic and mobile), credit or debit cards, or mobile payment methods such as Apple Pay and Google Pay on Golden Gate Transit. These fares generally provide a 20% discount off the adult cash fare. The discount is 10% within Marin County, and there is no additional discount for travel between the East Bay and San Francisco. Fares below are for youth (ages 5 to 18), seniors (ages 65 and above), disabled and Medicare riders. These fares are valid when using cash or Clipper (plastic or mobile). Please have cash or Clipper ready before boarding the bus and tell the driver where you are going so you are charged the correct fare. Clipper START provides a 50% discount on most Golden Gate bus and ferry rides for eligible low-income adults.
