AC Transit

Transfers from Golden Gate Transit to AC Transit: Transfers accepted from Routes 40 and 40X for full local fare on the first AC Transit bus boarded in the East Bay.

Transfers from AC Transit to Golden Gate Transit: For Clipper customers, Golden Gate Transit accepts AC Transit interagency vouchers for $2.25 fare credit for adults ($1.10 for youth/senior/disabled) on Routes 40 and 40X. For cash paying customers, Golden Gate Transit accepts AC Transit interagency vouchers for $2.50 fare credit for adults ($1.25 for youth/senior/disabled) on Routes 40 and 40X. Fare credits are automatically issued for Clipper card users.


Marin Transit and West Marin Stagecoach

Transfers from Golden Gate Transit to Marin Transit/West Marin Stagecoach: Transfers accepted for free continuing travel within Marin County.

Transfers from Marin Transit/West Marin Stagecoach to Golden Gate Transit: $2.00 adult local fare credit ($1.00 for youth/senior/disabled). To travel outside Marin County, pay the full regional fare on Marin Transit or Stage and receive a transfer.


Muni (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Authority)

Transfers are automatically issued to Clipper card users only; there are no transfers for cash-paying customers.

Transfers from Golden Gate Ferry/Golden Gate Transit to Muni: $0.50 fare credit for adults when boarding Muni within 2 hours of paying with e-cash; no fare credit for youth/senior/disabled or Muni pass holders.

Transfers from Muni to Golden Gate Ferry/Golden Gate Transit: $0.50 fare credit for adults ($0.25 for youth/senior/disabled) when boarding Golden Gate Ferry/Golden Gate Transit within 2 hours.


Petaluma Transit

Transfers from Golden Gate Transit to Petaluma Transit: Transfers accepted for a full local fare.

Transfers from Petaluma Transit to Golden Gate Transit: $1.50 adult fare credit ($0.75 for youth/senior/disabled). Fare credits are automatically issued to Clipper card users.


Santa Rosa CityBus

Transfers from Golden Gate Transit to Santa Rosa CityBus: Transfers accepted for a full local fare.

Transfers from Santa Rosa CityBus to Golden Gate Transit: $1.50 adult fare credit ($0.75 for youth/senior/disabled). Fare credits are automatically issued to Clipper card users.


SolTrans

Transfers from Golden Gate Transit to SolTrans: $1.75 fare credit for adults ($1.50 for youth, $0.85 for senior/disabled) for Routes 40 and 40X. Fare credits are automatically issued to Clipper card users.

Transfers from SolTrans to Golden Gate Transit: For Clipper customers, $2.25 adult fare credit ($1.10 for youth/senior/disabled) on Routes 40 and 40X. For cash-paying customers, $2.50 adult fare credit ($1.25 for youth/senior/disabled) on Routes 40 and 40X. Fare credits are automatically issued to Clipper card users.


Sonoma County Transit

Transfers from Golden Gate Transit to Sonoma County Transit: $1.50 adult fare credit ($1.25 for youth, $0.75 for senior/disabled). Fare credits are automatically issued to Clipper card users.

Transfers from Sonoma County Transit to Golden Gate Transit: $1.50 adult fare credit ($0.75 for youth/senior/disabled). Fare credits are automatically issued to Clipper card users.


Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit District (SMART Train)

Transfers from Golden Gate Transit & Golden Gate Ferry to SMART: $1.50 fare credit for adults, $1.25 fare credit for youth, $0.75 fare credit for senior/disabled.

Transfers from SMART to Golden Gate Transit & Golden Gate Ferry: $1.50 fare credit for adults, $0.75 fare credit for youth/senior/disabled. Fare credits are only issued on Clipper when using cash value (not passes). No fare credits are issued when using SMART eTickets.


WestCAT

Transfers from Golden Gate Transit to WestCAT: $1.00 adult/youth fare credit ($0.50 for senior/disabled) at El Cerrito del Norte BART Station for Route 40 and 40X customers. Fare credits are automatically issued to Clipper card users.

Transfers from WestCAT to Golden Gate Transit: For Clipper customers, $2.25 adult fare credit ($1.10 for youth/senior/disabled) on Routes 40 and 40X. For cash-paying customers, $2.50 adult fare credit ($1.25 for youth/senior/disabled) on Routes 40 and 40X. Fare credits are automatically issued to Clipper card users.
