After Friday, March 5, 2021, Golden Gate Sausalito Ferry service will be temporarily suspended and replaced with Golden Gate Transit bus service while the Sausalito float is removed for required maintenance. This temporary suspension of all ferry service between Sausalito and San Francisco, which includes Blue & Gold Fleet weekend service to and from Pier 41, is expected to last 60 days.

- Adults (19 ): $7.50 cash, $6.00 Clipper
- Youth (5-18) / Seniors (65 ) / Disabled / Medicare / Clipper START: $3.75

To ensure six-foot physical distancing on buses, Golden Gate Transit has instituted a passenger limit of 11 riders on our larger 45-foot buses. This means that a bus may reach capacity and riders should have flexible travel plans during this time. Additional buses may be added if ridership consistently exceeds capacity.
Masks Required When Riding
Per local and federal health officials, all riders over 2 years of age are required to wear a face mask or face covering while boarding and riding in our buses. Our bus drivers wear masks to protect you – please do the same for them. Thank you for your cooperation!
The Sausalito float has been in continuous and rigorous use since the mid-1990s. It is in need of immediate repairs and will be sent to a local shipyard. During the shipyard period, internal and external structures will be inspected and additional repairs will be made as necessary. The work will include renewal of paint and decking that is not easily performed while the float is in use. This work is being performed during the COVID-19 pandemic when Golden Gate Ferry is carrying about 95% fewer passengers than normal.
