Golden Gate Transit (GGT) will make the following schedule changes, effective Sunday, June 13, 2021, as we continue to modify bus service during the COVID-19 pandemic. New timetables are on our Upcoming Bus Schedule Changes page.
- Route 27.
- Southbound trips will be ADDED, arriving at the San Francisco Financial District (Battery & Pine) at 7:15 a.m. and 9:15 a.m.
- Northbound trips will be ADDED, departing San Francisco (Perry & 3rd) at 3:08 p.m. and 4:08 p.m.
- Other minor schedule adjustments.
- Route 30.
- Weekdays
- Southbound weekday trips will be ADDED, departing San Rafael GGT (Andersen Dr.) at 8:45 p.m., 9:45 p.m., and 10:45 p.m.
- Northbound weekday trips will be ADDED, departing Salesforce Transit Center at 10:16 p.m. and 11:16 p.m.
- Weekends/Holidays
- Southbound weekend trips will be ADDED, departing San Rafael GGT (Andersen Dr.) at 6:45 a.m., 7:45 p.m., 8:45 p.m., 9:45 p.m., and 10:45 p.m.
- Northbound weekend trips will be ADDED, departing Salesforce Transit Center at 7:15 a.m., 9:16 p.m., 10:16 p.m., and 11:16 p.m.
- Other schedule adjustments.
- Route 40.
- Weekday schedules will be ADJUSTED to provide hourly evening service.
- Weekend trips will be ADDED and schedules ADJUSTED to provide hourly service.
- Route will have IMPROVED evening connections to Routes 30/70/101 at San Rafael Transit Center.
- Route will serve NEW eastbound and westbound stops on Cutting Blvd @ Marina Way and S. 41st St. in Richmond.
- Route 54.
- Southbound trip will be ADDED, arriving at the San Francisco Financial District (Battery & Pine) at 8:20 a.m.
- Northbound trip will be ADDED, departing San Francisco (Perry & 3rd) at 5:01 p.m.
- Route 70.
- Weekdays
- Last two late-night southbound & last two late-night northbound weekday trips will be REPLACED with Route 30 trips. Connecting service to/from northern Marin available on Marin Transit Route 71.
- ALL weekday trips will serve Hwy 101/Spencer Ave bus pad and Manzanita Park & Ride.
- Weekends/Holidays
- Last two late-night southbound & last two late-night northbound weekend trips will be REPLACED with Route 30 trips. Connecting service to/from northern Marin available on Marin Transit Route 71.
- ALL weekend trips will serve Manzanita Park & Ride. ONLY early-morning southbound and northbound trips will operate through downtown Sausalito – ALL other trips will serve Hwy 101/Spencer Ave bus pad.
- Route 72.
- Southbound trip will be ADDED, arriving at the San Francisco Financial District (Battery & Pine) at 6:20 a.m.
- Northbound trips will be ADDDED, departing San Francisco (Perry & 3rd) at 3:36 p.m. and 5:03 p.m.
- Route will NO LONGER serve Petaluma Blvd North. Instead, buses will serve new stops on E. Washington Street and existing stops at 4th & C streets and on Petaluma Blvd South. On E. Washington, southbound buses will operate in the westbound direction and serve stops farside Ellis (across from Fairgrounds Park & Ride, in front of Jack in the Box), farside Vallejo, farside Lakeville, farside Grey; northbound buses will operate in the eastbound direction and serve stops farside Petaluma Blvd North, farside Lakeville, nearside Vallejo, farside Johnson (adjacent to Fairgrounds Park & Ride).
- Other minor schedule adjustments.
- Route 101.
- Northbound trip will be ADDED, departing San Rafael Transit Center at 6:15 a.m. Trip will operate daily.
- Other minor schedule adjustments.
Note: The suspension of commute Routes 2, 4, 4C, 8, 18, 24, 24C, 24X, 25, 38, 38A, 40X, 54C, 56X, 58, 72X, 74, 76, 92, and 101X will continue.
Per federal guidelines, all GGT passengers are required to wear a face mask while boarding, disembarking, and for the duration of travel.
