Visitors to Muir Woods have the option of parking in the Larkspur Ferry Terminal lot, (for free!), and taking the Muir Woods Shuttle, Marin Transit Route 66. Schedules vary throughout the year. Reservations are required to ride the shuttle into Muir Woods, and visitors are encouraged to purchase Muir Woods entrance tickets and shuttle tickets in advance. Return trips from Muir Woods to Larkspur Ferry Terminal do not require reservations, but are boarded on a first come, first-served basis.
The shuttle will continue to operate from the Sausalito Ferry Terminal as usual.
