June 15, 2026 10:45 AM
Golden Gate Bridge 75th Anniversary Fireworks(10)

On Saturday, July 4, 2026, San Francisco will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence’s signing with a historic fireworks display launched directly from the towers of the Golden Gate Bridge — only the third time in the Bridge’s nearly 90-year history that fireworks have been deployed from the iconic span. The free, public display will begin at approximately 9:30 pm and will be visible from vantage points across San Francisco and the Bay Area.

“We are proud to join the City of San Francisco and regional partners in welcoming this Fourth of July celebration to the Golden Gate Bridge,” said Denis Mulligan, General Manager of the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District. “As stewards of this iconic structure and symbol of our community, we are honored to help celebrate our nation’s 250th anniversary and look forward to a festive, safe, and memorable night for all.”
