Golden Gate Transit will be implementing the following service changes on Monday, October 28, due to impacts from the Kincade fire and related mandatory evacuations in the North Bay:
- Routes 72 / 72X / 74 / 76: All southbound morning bus trips are canceled. Northbound afternoon bus service will operate as scheduled to Sonoma County, but only as far north as the Santa Rosa Transit Mall.
- Route 101: Southbound trips will begin at the Rohnert Park Expressway and Commerce Boulevard bus stop. Northbound trips will operate as far north as the Santa Rosa Transit Mall.
- Route 101X: Southbound trips will begin at the SB Hwy 101/Rohnert Park Expressway bus pad. Northbound trips will operate as far north as the Santa Rosa Transit Mall.
- Route 31: All morning service between San Rafael and Larkspur Ferry is canceled.
Golden Gate Bridge and Golden Gate Ferry services are anticipated to operate regular services. Further updates on Golden Gate Transit and Golden Gate Ferry service changes due to the fires will be posted to goldengate.org.
