Bridge Remains OPEN to Traffic at ALL Times
The Golden Gate Bridge will have overnight lane closures during the week and on occasional Saturdays to allow for Suicide Deterrent System construction. Drivers should expect to slow down around construction areas and may experience minor traffic delays during construction hours.
Please note: When the overnight lane configuration is set to one northbound and two southbound lanes, pedestrian access to the east sidewalk will CLOSE one hour earlier—at 8:00 p.m. during Pacific Daylight Time.

- Overnight Monday, January 19, no lane closures needed between 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. (Tuesday morning).
- Overnight Tuesday, January 20, no lane closures needed between 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. (Wednesday morning).
- Overnight Wednesday, January 21, no lane closures needed between 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. (Thursday morning).
- Overnight Thursday, January 22, no lane closures needed between 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. (Friday morning).
- Overnight Friday, January 23, no lane closures needed between 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. (Saturday morning).
