2nd & Market to SF City Hall
San Francisco, CA

Congratulations to the Golden State Valkyries on their 2026 WNBA Championship! Join fans across the Bay Area to celebrate the team at its championship parade on Wednesday, November 4, 2026.

The parade runs from noon to 2 p.m. along the Embarcadero, starting at the San Francisco Ferry Building near Mission Street and ending at King and 2nd streets near Oracle Park. Fans can begin lining up along the bay side of the Embarcadero from Mission Street to 2nd Street at 9 a.m. For event details, visit the Valkyries parade announcement.

Please take public transit and plan for a surge in ridership. Golden Gate Ferry serves San Francisco from Larkspur, Sausalito, and Tiburon. Golden Gate Bus routes 101, 114, 132, and 120 are also options. Regular commuters should allow extra time and arrive early to secure a seat. Check Golden Gate service alerts before traveling for unexpected service disruptions.

Taking Golden Gate Ferry

  • Larkspur: Trips to San Francisco are already crowded and may reach capacity during peak ridership. Arrive at least 30 minutes early and have your Clipper card or plastic or mobile bank card ready to tap when boarding. The Larkspur Ferry overflow parking lot will be open Wednesday.

  • Sausalito and Tiburon: These ferry trips to the San Francisco Ferry Terminal have more room for riders, so consider these routes if they work for your trip. Arrive early to park or connect to the terminals by Marin Transit: Routes 17 or 61 for Sausalito, and Route 219 for Tiburon. Check Marin Transit routes for connections and terminal and parking information.

  • Return trips: Check the schedule carefully if you plan to stay for post-parade festivities. The last ferries to Tiburon and Sausalito leave at 7:15 p.m.; the last Larkspur trip leaves at 8 p.m. Ferry gates close one minute before departure, so be at the gate on time.
