This event takes place Saturday, May 31 and Sunday, June 1. The race will affect our area during the bike and run portions only. This event has approximately 1,800 participants.
No Bridge Access from Lincoln Blvd. The bike stage of the event will be held on Lincoln Blvd., which will be closed to vehicular traffic from approximately 5:30am –10:30am, both days. Residents and visitors are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra travel time during the weekend.

Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon - from Marina Green, triathletes will run up the Battery East / Coastal Trail under the Golden Gate Bridge. They will continue to run on the Coastal Trail to Baker Beach, then reverse course, retracing steps back under the Golden Gate Bridge via Coastal / Battery East Trail to their finishing point at Marina Green. Runners will begin running West under the Golden Gate Bridge at approx. 8:40a-10:30a, returning East under the Bridge at approx. 9:00a-12:15p.
