Effective Sunday, September 10, 2023, Golden Gate Transit will make important schedule changes to Route 580 to better align with BART at El Cerrito del Norte station, as well as other minor changes to routes 101, 114, and 132. Fall schedules are effective through January 13, 2024; there are no December 2023 schedule changes planned at this time.
Schedule improvements for September are designed to align schedules to meet current ridership demands, and to coordinate more closely with other Bay Area transit agencies.

Service changes include:
Route 101
1. Two southbound trips from San Rafael Transit Center, and two northbound trips to the San Rafael Transit center have been canceled.
2. Cotati Park & Ride lot (St. Joseph Way at Hwy 116) remains closed. Use the Park & Ride lot at Hwy 101 at Rohnert Park Expressway instead.
Route 114
1. Minor schedule adjustments.
2. Resumes service to Spencer Avenue Park & Ride.
Route 132
1. Minor schedule adjustments.
Route 580
Major schedule adjustments to improve connections with BART at El Cerrito Del Norte Station.
1. Weekday westbound trips from El Cerrito del Norte depart hourly on the :21s from 5:21am - 9:21pm, & every 30 minutes on the :51s during peak hours
2. Weekday eastbound trips depart hourly from 6:22am - 9:24pm, & every 30 minutes during peak commute hours (check times carefully)
3. Weekend eastbound and westbound trips depart hourly in coordination with arrivals and departures from BART del Norte station
