Real-Time Arrivals FAQs

Scroll down to the map on the schedule page for your route. Click on the bus icon nearest your location. A pop-up box will appear with the direction the bus is traveling and a list of real-time arrivals for the next 3 stops on that route.

Click on a stop (green dot) on our real-time maps. A pop-up box will appear showing Stop ID and other information, including stop name, stop direction, street view and a list of and links to other GGT routes that serve that stop.

1. Call 511, say “Golden Gate Transit”,” then “departure times” and follow the prompts.
2. Text 41411 from your bus stop. Text GGT the Stop ID. (GGT, space, Stop ID)
3. Download Transit app.

Yes. Click on the bus on the map to open a pop up box which displays the direction the bus is heading.

Our posted departure times on the timetables are /- 5 minutes due to variables like traffic, stoplights, etc. For the most accurate arrival times for your bus, use the real-time maps.
