On Friday, May 31, the 448-passenger M.V. Golden Gate will go out of service for about three months for overhaul work on its main engines and for other required maintenance. The Golden Gate will be replaced by the 399-passenger M.V. Del Norte.
Since the Del Norte carries about 50 fewer passengers, we recommend that Larkspur Ferry customers arrive earlier than usual if they want to get on their regular morning and evening ferry trips - especially the 7:50 a.m. Larkspur-San Francisco trip and 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. San Francisco-Larkspur trips.
